Practice # Advice, review & representation. ## Advice & governance I advise boards, owners and legal teams on who may decide, who holds which rights and who is responsible. These questions are best settled before commitments become hard to reverse. A legal pre-mortem starts by imagining that a proposed project or transaction has failed, then asking why. This brings risks into view while there is still time to address them. It is a practical way to use the law wisely: to support growth while limiting legal exposure. For families, foundations and individuals, I advise on governance, business and asset transactions, and succession. The people involved, their relationships and their interests shape the advice. [Discuss a decision](/contact/) ## Disputes & investigations I advise and represent clients in Swiss and cross-border civil and criminal matters, including shareholder and financial disputes, investigations and corporate criminal liability. An independent assessment identifies what a dispute turns on, what the evidence supports, what may be recovered, what liability may arise, and the costs of proceeding, funding the case or settling. I also act in Swiss proceedings concerning state action and constitutional or fundamental rights, including cases involving the environment and emerging technology. Where needed, I work with counsel abroad. [Investigation, strategy & representation](/disputes/) ## Law & AI I help legal teams and organisations use AI for defined tasks, improve how the work is done and keep useful knowledge available for later decisions. We define the task and its sources before choosing or building a system. We agree who may make decisions, what needs review, how exceptions are handled and what must be recorded.
